India has undergone a quantum leap in the short time span of 3 years elapsed after the Pulwama attack, a tragic episode in the Indian collective psyche which had bitter cascading effects on the state of Pakisthan. Pulwama attack was cunningly planned by terror outfit JeM, a proxy pampered and fostered in the lap of Pakisthan the marsupials of terrorism. Pakisthan hoped that the case would end up in a pink-panther mould devoid of conclusive evidence but their hope was misplaced as the NIA cracked case. PM of Pakistan staged a token gesture to distance itself from the terror attack but their Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhury boasted about Pulwama attack in parliament, which reiterated the fact that Pakisthan’s motto has always been the use of proxy elements to advance interests as they define it. At this juncture, India delivered a hitherto unseen lest unheard diplomatic jab that proved deterring to the enemy state and unleashed the brute diplomatic power of India.
India asked Nations to be more overtly critical with unambiguous official statements which led to an explicit mention of Pakistan as ‘ safe haven for terror groups’. India urged nations to review the sale of military equipments to Pakistan and to summon their diplomatic representatives if needed. The FATF kept Pakistan in ‘grey list’ with an attending caveat.
A delegation of doctors cancelled their visit to Pakistan for medical congress and Indian diaspora in UK protested outside Pakistan High Commission in London. DSport suspended the broadcast of Pakistan cricket league and Indian film Directors Association banned Pakistani artists. Moreover the Indian defence forces flexed its muscles as one of the most professional War Fighting Institution in the world. India applied all kinetic modalities of economic- diplomatic and military domains to corner the enemy state, showcasing diplomatic offensive as an essential aggregate of national power. As Aristotle rightly said ‘ A common danger unites even the bitterest enemies’. The entire nation unified into a brute force to counter-act upon sponsored-terrorism. We must stand united at this times of chaos wherein crisis has tilted the tectonic plates of global diplomatic panorama. As Kremlin shook hands with Beijing, Islamabad is trying to knit chords with Kremlin. The perpetual formation of this Anti-QUAD alliance combined with Pakisthan’s refusal to dismantle apparatus of terrorism fostered over the years demands a strong, unified and bold diplomatic stance. The prenatal stage of this offensive stature was the counter Pulwama diplomatic thrust unleashed by India. Today it has enabled India to give befitting replies even to Corporate Giants who misplace their thoughts upon the territorial integrity of India, bringing States and Entities along proper lines.
