Most of the people of Kashmir are happy with being in India. It is only the handful of people who echo the voices of Pakistani civil and military leadership. They have been either manipulated exploiting their straight forwardness or lured by monetary aspects.
There are people in the valley who keep on talking about Azadi or separate Kashmir. They eulogize about this concept of Azadi. They portray it as if it is panacea for all the problems of Kashmir. Their arguments for this Azadi in contemporary times are obsolete. What Azadi are they talking about? Azadi from whom. It seems as if most of them are repeating this Azadi continuously for the sake of it. This romanticism with Azadi is based on incomplete understanding and baseless beliefs. Who are they fighting with? There is no foreign Govt operating in Kashmir. It is the legitimate govt of the Kashmiris which is legislating and governing the people. India is a secular state and home to one of the greatest diversities throughout the world. Making the case for secession on the basis of religion is impractical and baseless.

Pakistan is just instigating these people to work against India, dwindle its hold, and somehow internationalise the issue resulting into India, withdrawal. This will then allow them a free walk into Kashmir, a dream they are having since 1948. Pakistan misguides people quoting that they will identify problems of Kashmiris and help them in their emancipation. They often use religion as tool to materialize this.
Any person with sense should see that India is home to somewhere equal or more Muslim population as Pakistan. They all are living freely in the country. Let's leave Pakistan aside, is there a possibility that Kashmir will be able to sustain itself as a nation. Pakistan will have a plan ready to annex it once Indian forces withdraw. Their economy will collapse. All of this will lead to Mayhem and chaos in the valley. So giving up this concept of Azadi, One should logically think is it even viable if terrorism is the way for emancipation then they will be the one who will form the govt. One can easily imagine how well terrorists will run a state. So, its high time to understand these intricacies and give up creating strife and make India Strong.
